Coconut Oil Cake is the byproduct of Oil Extraction. Coconut Oil Cake is the residue left after the extraction of oil from copra which is mainly used as manure for plants and also as cattle feed. Coconut Oil Cake contains 4-5 per cent oil which is extracted by solvent extraction process. This oil can be used for industrial purpose and de-oiled cake is used to make cattle feed.

It constitutes mainly fibre, 20% Protein and 10% Oil. Mechanical extraction of oil cannot recover oil in full. This oil cake can be used for further oil recovery with a solvent extraction process. Oil cake can also be directly used as cattle feed.
